Charles Darwin exhibition
Client: American Museum of Natural History
Spatial design for exhibition / New York, July 2006
I was hired by Stephanie Reyer, Director of the Spatial Graphics Department, for my first professional assignment at the American Museum of Natural History, working on the traveling exhibition Looking at Life, focused on Charles Darwin’s legacy.
My role involved developing the concept for the introductory wall. I selected a real orchid that offered the strongest visual composition for the display and collaborated with the photography director to capture it in the studio. I then edited and recomposed the image, integrating vector illustrations of species studied by Darwin to create a cohesive visual narrative highlighting his scientific contributions.
